Dr. Lenore Jackson is a dynamic leader and community champion whose passion for service, people, and positive change is unmistakable the moment you meet her.

A highly respected figure in Sumter County, Dr. Jackson brings over 30 years of federal service, including 22 years in the United States Air Force and 8 years in the Federal Government. Her distinguished career reflects a lifetime commitment to leadership, integrity, and service to others.

Dr. Jackson holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and is a well-respected educator, mentor, and sought-after speaker. Her ability to connect with people from all walks of life makes her a powerful voice for progress, empowerment, and community transformation.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Jackson is deeply engaged in service:

• Advisor and Social Action Co-Chair for the Xi Rho and Sumter Alumnae Chapter's of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Respectively.
• Board of Directors member for the YWCA
• Board of Directors member for the County Library

Her leadership extends into civic life as well. In 2022, Dr. Jackson successfully managed a congressional campaign, further demonstrating her strategic insight, organizational strength, and commitment to public service.

At her core, Dr. Jackson believes in faith, family, and forward movement. She treasures her blended family, which includes her husband, four children, and her beloved grandson—her greatest source of joy and inspiration.
